(all the regular KTP Sunday Public Mediatations and Pujas are suspended for
March 7 as we will be in a 5-day retreat, but will resume on March 14th.)

Monday, March 29, 4 PM, Medicine Buddha Puja on this full moon, led by Lama Damtsik. Bring your text. If you know of someone in need of healing energy please email their names to Damtsik prior to the puja. Medicine Buddha empowement required.

Sunday, April 4, 9-3 PM, Day long teaching on and practice of Kalu Rinpoche’s Extraordinary Shinay led by Lama Damtsik. This is a profound practice based on the five elements. Vow of refuge required. Suggested donation $10

Wednesday, April 28, 5 PM,
Amitabha Puja and Tsok led by Lama Zik on the full moon. Bring your text and tsok to share. Amitabha empowerment required.

Sunday, May 2, 9-3 PM, Death and Dying from a Buddhist Perspective, taught by Lama Zik. Rather than fearing death Buddhism regards the process of dying as an opportunity to realize the nature of mind and attain liberation. Includes teachings on the six bardos and meditation practices to be done in each. Suggested donation $10

Saturday, May 15, 9-1 PM,
Medical and Spiritual Directives Workshop where we will develop together the advance health directives and spiritual directives to ensure that our wishes are known at the time of death. Forms will be provided or you may bring your own AHD forms. Led by Lama Damtsik. Suggested donation $10

Tuesday, May 25, 9-1 PM,
Nyung Ne Instruction by Lama Damsik. Basic instruction in the fasting practice of the 1000 armed Chenrezik. Texts will be available. 1000 armed or 4 armed Chenrezik empowerment required. Sign up for this instruction by May 15 by emailing damtsik@gmail.com.

May 26-28,
Nyung Ne Retreat, led by Lama Damtsik. An intense and powerful fasting and purification practice of the 1000 Armed Chenrezik coinciding with Saga Dawa Duchen. The benefits of practice are multiplied by 10 million times on the Great Festival Days. The first day there will be three sessions of approximately three hours each and participants may only have liquids after a midday meal. On the second day there will be three sessions of approximately three hours each and no liquids or food is taken. On the third day there will be one session followed by Kalu Rinpoche’s Tsok and the practice will finish in the morning.  In addition, one takes the 8 precepts on the first and second days.  This is a practice and not a teaching retreat. If you want to attend and do not have instruction you need to attend the instruction on May 25. Please register for this retreat by emailing damtsik@gmail.com by May 15. Prerequisites: 4 or 1000 Armed Chenrezik empowerment. Bring your texts. Suggested donation $25/day or $50/3 days
